Rachel Cox Just wanted to drop you a line to say how much I enjoyed your book. The story was gripping and eloquently told, giving a real insight into Peter. I loved the little snippets of characterisation from real life and was really moved by Kate's funeral scene (at least this time when I cried, you were spared witnessing first hand the gibbering wreck!!!) I hope that the book is doing well - it deserves to. When's the next one due to be published????!!
Simon Jesson I thoroughly enjoyed this clever and witty book. The story is well paced, and takes several very interesting excursions along the way, that have obviously been well researched. The characters are very believable, and I like the "plot within a plot" of the main character writing a book. It kept my interest right the way through, where I found myself caring about what was happening to the characters. The plot develops nicely, but keeps you guessing as to what's really happening. It all comes together for a great finale. Excellent.
Tracy Andrews This book is fantastic. The twists and turns result in a rollercoaster of emotions. I started this book in the hairdressers and found myself laughing out loud! The book is so clever, I loved the way that the 100 ways to improve the world were intertwined around the strong story, and the ending was perfect, unexpected and thought provoking.
Tony Griffiths The book is a very entertaining story of a man whom life is passing by. The book opens with a murder; however it's not a grim story, because he is writing a book, a book that will identify 100 ways to improve the world. The story moves along at a good pace and remains throughout very readable. The story is very funny in parts and wise in others and I would not hesitate to recommend it.
